Hello City View Families,

Welcome back from Spring Break, I hope everyone was able to enjoy the time away. We went into break with an exciting and productive week at City View as students took their learning beyond the classroom and into the community! We are looking to continue the positive momentum! Going into break we had students:

• Pitch a project idea to Van Meter, securing funding and valuable connections.
• Tour the wastewater treatment plant to explore the incredible process behind clean water.
• Present to future educators at Mt. Mercy about the challenges students face.
• Participat in a mock trial event.
• Showcase their National History Day projects.
• Continue gaining real-world experience at their internships.
• Present projects to Linn County Health officials.
• Meet with community partners to plan impactful projects for Cedar Rapids.

It was an inspiring week of learning, collaboration, and real-world impact and I hope everyone was able to enjoy the well earned break!
