As we close out the semester, we’re excited to share the many accomplishments of our students. Over half of our students are now engaged in internships, gaining real-world skills and connections. This week’s second showcase highlighted their impressive progress and innovative projects, demonstrating the power of our student-centered approach.
Looking ahead, we’re making a schedule change to provide greater consistency and alignment with student needs:
Monday, Wednesday, Friday: Core academic days featuring problem-based classes with our English classes integrated into Social Studies and Science.
Tuesday, Thursday: Freshman Academy for community-connected problem solving, while upper-class students focus on their internship opportunities, in the mornings, and projects and student support in the afternoon.
This new structure will allow students to dive deeper into their core academics while maintaining meaningful, real-world learning opportunities. To ensure this transition goes smoothly, we’ll work closely with resident schools to help students plan their schedules effectively and balance all their commitments.
Thank you for your continued partnership in shaping the future of City View. We’re proud of all we’ve accomplished this semester and are excited about the opportunities ahead.
