The Magnet School Lottery is back open for new applicants for the 2024-25 year. Here is the link to the official district website giving a little more information about the lottery process: Link. The lottery closes on Monday, March 4th. Results should be announced between March 6-8. When results are announced parents have 72 hours to accept the offer if offered. If a student is declined, they will be waitlisted and no seats are official. The lottery is completely random and no one is guaranteed to get in if the lottery has a lot of applicants. Existing magnet students don’t need to reapply to get in, this is only for new magnet students.
